CIY Staff Tips:
- Cut varying sizes of paper towel rolls to create eagles of different heights. Note: construction paper measurements may vary slightly as a result.
Steps:
Cut paper towel roll in half.
Place paper towel roll horizontally on brown construction paper and mark width at top and bottom edges of paper with pencil. Draw line connecting marks using ruler.
Sketch out four hooves, ears and a nose in separate area of same construction paper sheet. Cut out paper towel roll section and wings. Add nose markers with black marker.
Sketch out antlers on yellow construction paper.
Sketch rectangle on white construction paper.
Sketch a maple leaf on red construction paper.
Cut out all construction paper elements.
Glue brown construction paper around paper towel roll.
Glue the moose nose on the front of the paper towel roll.
Glue the ears and antlers to the back of the paper towel roll.
Glue hooves to the back and bottom of the paper towel roll.
Glue the white rectangle around the bottom of the paper towel roll and glue the maple leaf to the middle of the white rectangle.
Glue wiggle eyes to front of paper towel roll. Let all glue steps dry 1–2 hours.
